Our main goal at InstaHeat is to simplify farming and gardening for small-scale operations. In the long run, we aim to leverage insights from custom mat sizes to develop fixed-size products that broadly meet customer needs. In 2027, these will be readily available in major utility stores like Home Depot and Lowe's, as well as online marketplaces such as Amazon, making innovation accessible to all. In the 5 year term we are hoping to sell this product all throughout the US reduce the cost to make them even more accessible in the common market.

Designed for simplicity

InstaHeat was inspired by an unexpected cold front that hit our school farm, revealing the challenges of poorly equipped facilities. We faced difficulties with existing heating solutions like insulation tarps, which required multiple people to set up, and flammable heat lamps with exposed cords. Our mats solve these issues by being a one-person setup, battery-powered (eliminating the need for extension cords), non-flammable, durable in a farm setting, and offering various temperature adjustments.
